About Paper Bag Press

Paper Bag Press is a new online publisher of erotica, located in Denver, Colorado. Amy Barnes - author, businesswoman, and entrepreneur - is the one in charge around here. Since 1987, Amy has been writing and editing. She has written, edited, formatted and published her own ebooks from the ground up, and continues to market and sell those books on her own. This positive experience led her to explore other lucrative avenues for selling ebooks online.

She says, "Erotica, the really good stuff, can cause a visceral response in the reader.  This connection was fascinating to me, so I began exploring all aspects of erotic fiction: writing it, selling it, finding markets for it." This journey led her to create Paper Bag Press.

Publishing electronically is no longer the "wave of the future." It is happening now, and Paper Bag Press is happy to take part. Amy says, "We work and publish electronically so customers can receive their ebooks immediately upon purchase, and to help protect the environment. We are able to publish as many stories as possible and not waste one shred of paper. Not only are ebooks an environmentally friendly choice, but they present a benefit to the author, as well. Stories and books can be published very quickly, and the authors can be paid sooner, generally seeing larger payouts than will books in print. Clients benefit from a larger, regularly updated selection of stories and books from which to choose."
